Self-Release Restraint
The RIPP™ SELF-RELEASE RESTRAINT (RISR-100) was created to
provide increased safety for staff members who must move a violent
psychiatric patient from one room to another. Often, the risk of injury
to staff increases when leaving the patient alone in a room. With effort,
the SELF-RELEASE RESTRAINT can be removed by the patient, but the
time involved gives you the opportunity to exit the room without risk of
personal harm.
Intended for use on wrists as well as ankles, this restraint is quick and easy to use. The SELF-RELEASE RESTRAINT is made from 2” wide, 1400 LB polypropylene webbed belting and hook & loop materials. The method of closure features a double seal for strength and security.
