Cuff & Door Tethers
RIPP™ TETHERS were developed to
increase safety and allow the user better
control. Tethers work especially well in
conjunction with TRANSPORT BELTS during
cell extraction.All CUFF & DOOR TETHERS are custom-made to your specified length. When ordering CUFF Tethers, measure the distance from where the snap will attach to the door to the point where the cuffs will be.
When ordering Door Tethers, measure the distance from where the loop will attach to the door knob, and add 4” to compensate for the knob.
The CUFF TETHER (RICT-100) is constructed
from double layered, 700 LB tensile strength
(1400 LB), 1" polypropylene webbed belting with a steel snap at each
end. Snap one end to a fixed point outside the cell door. Snap the other
end to handcuff chain. When the door opens, your prisoner comes
with it.

700 LB, 1" polypropylene belting with a steel snap
on one end and a permanent loop established
through a steel alligator clip at the other.
Close loop around the door
knob and hook the snap to
the handcuff chain.
Your prisoner comes with
the door when it opens.
